2 | Milk | 1/2 ltr more or less |
3 | Condensed Milk | 300 grms |
4 | Cashew | 20 |
5 | Kishmish | 20 |
6 | Almond | 10 |
7 | Cardamom | 1 tbs |
8 | Ghee | 2 tbs |
Procedure:
- Rinse, peel and grate the carrots.
- In the pressure cooker add milk and grated carrots.
- On a low to medium flame, wait for 4 cooker whistle sounds.
- After 10 mins,open the pressure cooker and add condensed milk.
- Stir well and continue to simmer and cook on a low flame.
- Now you can see all the milk is evaporated.
- Take 1 pan and roast all dry fruits in ghee.
- Now add these dry fruits in carrot halwa.Finally add cardamom powder.
- Switch off the burner.
- Serve carrot halwa hot, warm or you can also serve it cold.
Cautions:
- Don't add sugar while following above procedure as condensed milk itself is sweet.
- Cook on low flame or medium flame.
