Coconut Peanut Chutney

This chutney goes well with all kinds of idli, dosa, upma, pongal, and vada.

Coconut peanut chutney is easy, quick chutney recipe with minimal ingredients, it's different from normal coconut chutney here we use peanut instead of roasted gram and peanuts brings sweetness and flavors to this chutney.

If you are bored of usual coconut chutney then you have to try this peanut combination which works great and kids specially love it.



Ingredients:

1/4 Cup - Grated Coconut
1/4 Cup - Peanuts
4 to 5  - Green Chilies
1 - Garlic Clove
hand full of Coriander leaves
To Taste - Salt
1 tbsp of Tamarind
For Tempering:
1 tsp - Oil
1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp - Urad Dal
1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
4 to 5 - Curry Leaves
2  -  dried red chillies

How to make?

Roast peanuts ,cumin seeds and chillies in oil for 6 mins
After roasted... looks like this

now put that roasted peanuts into mixy jar

Add cocunut

Add 1 garlic

Add hand full of coriander leaves

Add soaked tamarind into mixy bowl


Add salt

Add 1 small glass of water


Pout chutney into 1 bowl
For Tempering : add above shown in pic

Roast it for 4 mins

Pour this tempering into chutney bowl
