Bread Omelet-Indian breakfast

Bread Omelet is a very easy, Indian breakfast menu, in which bread is cooked along with omelet itself.  It makes a great combo with tomato ketch up or chutney as just as it is..! It’s a full meal by itself..!!

Ridge Gourd Chutney | Andhra Beerakaya Pachadi

Andhra is very famous for freshly prepared chutneys with vegetables. We can’t finish our meal without having a dollop of freshly prepared chutney(called roti pachadi). This time I came with  a yummy chutney made with ridge gourd,It is so tasty and came out so good

Traditionally these chutneys are grinded in stone device called Rolu..which gives the pachadi a unique taste but we guys in cities have to compromise on the taste using electric mixers:)Usually I don't like ridge gourd but somehow I liked it in this chutney form,,Try out guys and let me know how it came out for you.

Pulagam(using green split moong dal) and Chutney

Every region has their own specials and this Pulagam is popular in Rayalaseema region of Andhra. This can be prepared during Sankranti. Pulagam is a dry khichdi which is made up of rice and split green lentils unlike the regular Khichdi/pongal which is a soft version and made up of rice and yellow moong dal.

Pulagam is usually served with thick and coarse ground nut chutney in the Rayalaseema region and is a quite common meal in all house holds.Split green gram adds extra nutrition to the rice and also make it more tasty. You can give this dry khichdi a try for a change instead of pongal.

Crispy Dosa (With idly rice)

Dosa is one the common food  for all South Indians.
This recipe is a very basic recipe which uses only four ingredients namely Urad dal, Idly rice, fenugreek seeds and Salt. Its the technique that makes this the best batter ever.
Each and every ingredient is ground separately. All the ingredients are soaked for a minimum of 3-4 hours and then ground. Wash all the ingredients in the beginning and then soak it in water. Wash the rice 4-5 times.

Peanut Veggi Chuteny for Dosa/Idli

This is one of the most simple chuntey to prepare. With idli, dosa and even I had it with some other deep fried snacks. The best thing in this chutney is its runny and still rich, which I liked the most. So here is the recipe.
