Dried fish curry:
This is one of my favorite curry and every time it comes out well. Dried fish you can get from any market. I got this recipe from my mom which is made in almost all fish lover's home during unseason when we do not get fresh fish in local markets. You must try this recipe if you've never tasted this.
Ingredients:

1 | Dried Fish | 300 grams |
2 | Onion | 1 or 2 |
3 | Chilli | 4 or 5 |
4 | Cumin seeds | 1 tbsp |
5 | Mustard | 1 tbsp |
6 | Turmeric | 1 tbsp |
7 | Coriander leaves | Hand Full |
8 | Oil | 1 tbsp |
9 | Curry leaves | 4-5 sprigs |
10 | Red Chilli powder | 1 tbsp |
11 | Ginger & Garlic paste | 1 tbsp |
12 | Salt | 1.5 to 2 tbsps |
13 | Potato | 1 |
14 | Brinjal | 3 or 4 |
15 | Coriander powder | 1 tbsp |
Procedure:

Take all ingredients |

Cut ,clean and soak dried fishes in water |
In oil add cummin seeds ,mustard seeds,chillis,..
curry leaves and fry
Add onion slices and let it fry for 2 mins
|
Add potato and let it fry for 5 mins |
|
Add brinjal and let it fry for 5 mins |
|
Add tamotos |
|
Add ginger & garlic paste and mix |
|
Add very little water |
|
Add turmeric,salt and red chilli powder and mix. |
|
Remove water from soaked dried fishes and add here |
|
Add coriander powder and mix (let it be for 10 mins) |

Here is the dried fish curry is ready |
